Wolfgang Finishing Glaze?

Has anybody tried this product? It's got very mild abrasives in it and is to be used after polish, pre-wax/pre-sealant. The pre-sealant caught my eye. I wonder if it doesn't have many oils in it (leads to less desirable look, better durability) or has plenty of oils in it and lends itself to interfering with a sealant.

Seems like it might be a nice step under EX-P, UPP, obviously WG, OCW, etc. if it is in fact anything special or different from the Meg's pure polishes (glazes).

Or maybe it's a lot like VM... hmmm. Well anyways, I haven't used it, so that's why I posted ;) Any information on this product?

I just received some of the WG Finishing Glaze and am in the process of redoing my magnesium metallic Honda and will let you know how it turns out. If possible, I will post some pics, but not sure I can get ahold of my mom's digital camera (mine is on the blink).

Not real sure about the process and where/how the WG Finishing Glaze fits in. I understand, AG, that this is a polish and glaze, therefore, I don't need to do a polish first but it seems like the printed material on the web page suggests to use a polish or swirl remover first (I have no swirls!). So, here is what I am planning - the PB PP may be an overkill, but what the heck. I do have some of the WG Pre-Wax Enhancer which maybe I should use instead of the PB PP?

Wash - completed

Cleaner - AIO & Meg's Step 1 - completed (I figured it needed some serious cleaning since there were tons of EX, Natty's, OCW & KSG on the car. ugh!)

PB Pro Polish - by PC - Next Step

WG Finishing Glaze - by PC

WG Sealant 2x - by hand - with 12 hour curing periods (then next weekend wash and apply another layer or 2)

Will be treating occassionally with WG Sealant Spritz

Sounds good to me. I enjoy working with WG because it's so simple to use. Let us know how you like the glaze.

I'm selling my Wolfgang shampoo, paint cleaner and sealant all unused! Sorry to hijack :o

I like the stuff... it's definitely in my top 3. Send me a PM and let me know how much you want for the 3.

OK, so here are my impressions of the WG Finishing Glaze. I need to admit that this is my first time using a glaze, so I really did not know what to expect except WG marketing, and it's the first time I extensively used a PC.

With that being said, here is my 2 cents:

- Application of WG Glaze - very simple. The thick liquid broke down and I was able to work it in very easily. Residue wiped off very easily with a MF.

- Finish after WG Glaze - nice, 'wet' and slick - Not dripping wet, but it definitely added 'wetness' to my magnesium metallic finish. Exceptionally smooth and slick!

- Applying WG Sealant on top of WG Glaze - Went on very easily and wiped off very easily. Still exceptionally smooth and slick, even more slick than UPP.

- Overall Impression - I like it alot. I won't really know how good it looks until I can get it out into the sun (yesterday and today it's overcast and rainy/snowy), but from what I can see, it appears to add a fair amount of 'wetness' to the deeper look that the WG Sealant brings to my car. This combo remains in my top 3 (although I'd like to compare with BF). I'll probably add a 3rd layer of sealant this weekend, then occassionally treat with WG Sealant Spritz and bathing with WG Autobathe.

- Durability? - I'll let you know. I drive 300 miles daily, so with the precipitation this time of year I should be able to get a good handle on how well it beads, etc.

Pics? Yesterday and today it's overcast and rainy/snowy. I think it's going to be sunny this weekend, so I'll get some pics posted.
