Winter Wheel Protection?

Anybody have any recommendation an how to protect the aluminum wheels on my Jeep Grand Cherokee this winter??

I have always had good luck with painted aluminum wheels, but not clearcoated.

The Jeep wheels are a combination of silver paint and polished aluminum that is clearcoated.

The clearcoat over polished aluminum always seems to get what almost look like worm burrows under the clearcoat. Once it starts, it spreads all over.

The Jeep is new, so if I can prevent this it would sure be good.

Thanks In Advance!

ONCE A WEEK SPRAY THEM WITH A GOOD DOSE OF WD40. YOUR WHEELS WILL LOOK BRAND NEW COME SPRING
How are you supposed to do that without getting it all over the rotors?

I would just follow bizzy's advice. Which reminds me I'm not quite ready for winter yet...

yes.. Be very very careful... oil on the brakes = no brakes.

and even if you do get some break cleanser for it, you pads + roter will still be shot (the oil will absorb into the metal)
