The weather was half way decent today, so I decided to get my car ready for the winter weather. I haven't done a full detail in a while...I sure am tired.



My process:



NXT wash

Menzerna IP w/ polishing pad

Zaino Z5 x 2

Zaino Z16 on tires and trim

winter weather though ?? texas ?? am i missing something, i have already had 2 significant snowfalls here in chi-town :down



does your car stay outside zane ??? or does it see a geerage :xyxthumbs

Sully - Z16 seems to be pretty durable. I first applied it 3 weeks ago, and it survived 6 straight days of rain. No gloss left today when I washed, but the tires were still black. Adding a layer today should keep them up for a month or so.



Gav - We do have a decent amount of winter weather in the Panhandle/South Plains area. Already had a 4" snow storm in early November. Plus lots of rain and dirt.



My car is garaged except when I have to go to school...I wish I could hurry up and find a truck :D
 
that's cool, i did not know that you actually got snow, that sucks huh ??



yeah well, mine sees the curbside. but my parents bought a new house and it will have an extended geerage, so my Z will go there, next winter, :D

I was getting ready to ask you how that thing drove in the snow then saw you were from TX.....lucky b@stard, I hate the cold weather more than anything

Thanks...it's actually living off a 5 year old paint job due to a severe hail storm. Pretty disappointed with the repaint, though.

Sick as usual.....MAN COME WORK SOME MAJIC ON MY OTHER CARS!! I think that I have the vette licked! Thanks for hosting my pics! Call me this weekend.....I don't know if I'll be painting my living room or working on the garage! Dyno day Saturday morning....hoping for good numbers....was going to take it to Jason, but just can't get to Lubbock. Is that the stuff that Sal sent you to try? CHEERS!
 
Nope, this is just normal Zaino Z5. I gave my word not to talk about the other products until they are released.



Stay tuned...I'm giving the Yukon its winter prep tomorrow.



I'll make it to Dallas one of these days...
 
Note: It is currently raining, so some of the beads are pooling. The car has not been washed in 3 weeks, so it is fairly dirty.



Here is an update after 2 1/2 months.
