Updated Pictures With #16 Topper On Page 2

Hey guys - Well the sun finally decided come out today and there is no snow expected until later this week so I decided to give my car a nice wash..even though 10 minutes after driving it it will be full of water and slush. But hey, half the fun is cleaning it up again.

Process was:

ONR

Sealed with AJT

Optimum Tire Shine on Tires

The car looks excellent. It appears that AJ looks very nice on red, almost like the red color is bolder, without turning orangy. Is that the new or old formula of Optimum on the tires?

Thanks Bigpoppa, This was actually my first time using AJT for a LSP and I was very pleased. It gives a nice wet/reflective look that I love. I have also used Zaino/M21 but after seeing the results of AJT it's going to be hard to beat because of ease of use and looks. I hear durability is excellent as well...Sounds like a real winner to me.

The tire dressing is the old formula. Usually I use Z16 or Blackfire Tire Gel but I didnt feel like going inside to get it :p Oh! I should also mention these tires are brand new and have less than 100 miles on them so I wouldn't expect the same results on older tires. This was my first time using it so sorry I dont have any better insight, hopefully someone else can chime in on it.

Thanks again!

Thanks. I have a gallon of the new formula of the tire shine and love it. I wouldn't expect too much in the way of durability for AJ, though.

Your car looks great. Nice contrast with all that white stuff. I see your pup is nearly grown. Looks like he wants to move South. Good job. :xyxthumbs

Looking good. AJT has never let me down :goodjob it is a nice product to work with. thanks for the pics. also nice to see your guard dog is still keeping his eye out in case he needs to :bat lol !

Looks great against the snow. I wonder if the paint or the snow will blind people more.

I would think that you can get 4 months out of AJT, thats what I got out of AJ.

Super results for a quickie! :)

You should get a good 4+ months durability (regular AJ is 6+ months for me) and best of all, it is so easy to apply, every nice day (which, based on the snow, will be few!), you can use it again and be right back at that 4+ months durability from the new application.

Hey thanks again for all the compliments on the quick detail guys and for the comments on Baxton! :chuckle:

I just got in from giving my mom's minivan an ONR and a coat of AJT and will try to take some pictures tomrrow. Dont know why it took me so long to jump in and try this product, but I regret not doing it sooner. 4 months sounds great too me, especially with how easy it is to refresh like you said Scott.

Bryan, thank you very much! :) I am addicted to ONR and having my car look as nice as it can in winter. haha I hate having the salt and snow spray up onto my car. Although not always possible to have it clean, it's just something about seeing peoples heads turn when I go past them. I try to clean it up when I have at least 2 nice days ahead of me.

Thanks again for all the kind words - - Off to map out a route to school and work tomorrow so I don't hit any slush :grinno:

Did another ONR wash tonight and topped with my new can of #16. Late at night here so only garage pictures for now. Will get outdoor pictures in the morning..Enjoy!
