Winshield Wiper Haze??

For as long as I can remember, I have had a haze over my windshield across the entire wiper span. Its not deep at all and I wonder if glass polish would help. Ive never polished my windows before and when I hit it with #7 to see what happens, It cleared up a little.

Ive done some searching but have not found a solution. Any suggestions would be helpful.

First I assume you have replaced the wiper blades. An old clay bar works great on glass. I'd try that first.

The haze is more like light scratches that follow the same pattern at the wipers.

I tried wetsanding with 1500 and then buffing it out wit a cleaner and it helped but its still kind of there. I think a quality widow polish might do the trick. Can I pick up stoners locally?

I forget the name, but there is a cleanser that is supposed to remove the "eyebrows" from windshields. I heard of it from someone, and I once saw it in my owners manual.

heres the link to bon ami

if it doesnt work copy and paste in your browser.

sorry ab/ that. It is just so high, then you tack on shipping. For .79 that worked great. You know how after water is splashed on to the window, it sort of clings to the "eyebrow"? After using this, that didn't happen... it sheeted off.

When you do do it, besure to do it before you wash the car, and when you wash the car, RINSE WELL, the white residue from the extra bonami powder that went into small crevices (i.e. around side mirrors) will leak out and show once you drive.
