This is my first real post on here...
I have a 13yr old Rover 220 Coupe which I've only had about 8 months and so far it would appear the previous owners haven't take great care of the car throughout its life. I'm working on it, the paint is looking good now (but can be even better - next summers job!), but I have a problem with the front and rear windows.
I think the windows may be suffering from watermarking. I've only started to notice it recently now its been raining a bit more here. When I use the wipers when its wet, the water is cleared but the window is still hazy. It almost looks as if the outside of the window is misting up and then clears after a short while (a matter of seconds) and comes back when the wipers make their next sweep.
I've tried a variety of things suggested on here, new blades, the distilled vinegar trick, AutoGlym Glass Polish and fine steel wool etc. Its improved things slightly but its really annoying with the amount of rain we get here in the UK! :furious:
Am I doing the right thing? Should I keep at it with the polish and plenty of elbow grease or is there something that anyone can suggest that might help or is it a lost cause and a new windscreen job.
Sorry for the long post but I hope one of the many gurus on here can help me!
