window problems

I have a friend who just got a used car and the windows have a film on them...she said it was from the pre. owner smoking in the car. She also said that she has tried just about everything(window cleaner, water, car wash, soap). I havn't seen the windows yet but they sound like fun ....so you guys got any ideas that could fix that???

Straight vinegar and a MF. I have also removed films like that with 3M tar and adhesive remover. Good luck.

What kind of window cleaner do you have?

Try the four star or EO window cleaner with a MF. Windows may need multiple passes. A previous job I had, I shared a sonoma with 4 heavy chain smokers, I am non smoker. I cleaned the windows with EO, paper towels and multiple cleaning per window and finished with a newspaper final buff. Clean windows until the end of my shift. The ranger before the sonoma was another story...

Another option is ordering Einszett window cleaner, cuts right through interior films, but has a strong odor. Is not readily available and shipping maybe as much a product.
