Will NXT+s100=LG+IHG+s100 for light swirls?

I have had success, after removing the majority of swirls/scratches with DACP, using LG(x2) as a sealant and topping with a combination of IHG and S-100. This has worked well to hide remaining swirls and allow a beautiful finish with what I believe to be excellent protection.

However, I am interested in the purported swirl hiding ability of NXT. Am I correct in thinking that NXT, being a synthetic polymer, will give the protection and gloss of LG, while providing the swirl filling abilities of IHG? If so, I'd certainly love to reduce the steps in my process.

Of course, I have a white paintjob that is in very good condition. I'm doing my father in law's moderate-heavily swirled black Prelude this Friday, and will use the NXT so I can spend more time with the DACP, if this sounds like a good combo.

You'll like DACP and NXT.

I don't have too much experience with LG, but I do know that NXT doesn't give me all the protection I would expect from a polymer, so I can only assume it won't.

But it does a decent enough job of protecting and swirl hiding to make it a vital product in my arsenal.

My current fav. is: DACP, AIO, NXT, then 24 hours later, S100.

On a 1996 black daily driver.

If your going to use the DACP on the black try it with a white pad first and see how it makes out .. I hazed my black with DACP and a yellow pad and it made a difficult added step.

Thanks blackntan. Sounds like I'll try the combo. Since I have SEC and not AIO, right now, I'll probably substitute that where you have AIO. I appreciate you feedback!

Jesstzn--I'm gonna try a section by hand, and if it's not turning out well, resort to the rotary. But I will certainly keep in mind to try a soft pad, first, with it. Thanks.

I haven't taken the PC plunge, just yet, since my own vehicle is white and at "maintenance level." The products I use, and procedures I perform, rarely require anything but hand application. This black car is being done as a birthday gift.
