Will NXT Remove AIO Acrylics?

I was reading on the forum that NXT sealant does contain a mild cleaner/swirl remover and fillers.

If I wanted to use AIO prior to applying NXT, would these ingredients remove or interfere with AIO and its acrylic sealant?

I was primarily looking to add a protective layer under the NXT.

Thanks for any info.

NXT seems to strip everything but the clearcoat. JMO.

So NXT over Klasse SG would be a waste then??? Im curious cause I was going to give NXT a try but I might hold off putting it over SG.

AIO doesn't give much of a protective layer without SG, but I have used AIO/NXT together and it looks really good.

I've used AIO/NXT combo and the results are very good IMO. Below is a pic of the vehicle I detailed using this combo....

Yes.

Any protective qualities from AIO will be removed once NXT is applied.

Does anyone apply NXT with a PC ? What pad ?

Last weekend was my first time using a PC. I used the Orange Pad for 1Z, White Pad for the AIO and Grey Pad for the NXT. THere ceratinly is a difference from just the AIO application then topped off with NXT.

I meant to ask you, do you have any pics of your first time PC usage?

softball nut, from the responses that YOUR thread has gotten it seems as if NXT is very compatible with AIO. Personally I don't believe that NXT completely removes AIO but this is just from my observation of my recent detail. You might want to check with Mike Phillips to get a much better answer to your question.

ajbarnes, I did take a couple that I will post sometime this weekend.

I don't get it. IMO, a product is not compatible just because one looks good over the other. Is DACP compatible with S100 then? Hell, if so, everything is compatible...

In My Opinion it is. :D

And of course I'm just basing this like what you said, "just because one looks good over the other."

I'm thinking if they're not compatible then it would have adverse effects on the paint. This is how I feel about this and if it's wrong :nixweiss oh well what do I know?

I use AIO & NXT alot.....especially on vehicles that are in decent shape & the client only wants to pay for two steps. I think it looks good and it's affordable & easy. I did this Escalade yesterday.
