Will klasse AIO stripe PPCL?

Hi!

I just PPCL'ed my car (black Lexus GS300 '99). I have couple very deep scratches and PPCL masked them very well. The question is: if I will use klasse AIO, will it stripe PPCL and make my scratches visible again? If so, may be I should use Klasse SG without AIO? Is SG requires AIO on paint or it can be used without it?

Thanks.

Yes! you can use Sg without AIO. AIO just cleans and helps SG to bond to the surface but you surface is probably very clean from the PPCL. Try it you will like it.

Thank you.

Applied two coats of SG directly on PPCL'ed surface. Seems like no problems so far. We'll se tomororrow how it will buff off.

Hi all!

PPCL and Klassed three days ago. Car is a daily driver, and was parked outside for 2 days. (Near 100F outside). I am working in the building near I-25 highway, so after couple hours it's like pound of dust on the car.

Anyway, car was QD'ed two times and washed today. Here is results:

man, i'm glad it's friday. excellent work!

did the carnuba make a really big diff? or was it more than acceptable before liquid wax?

did the carnuba make a really big diff?

No. I put layer of LS only on hood. May be it looks just little bit smoother than other car parts. But there is not a big difference. Maybe it because of Liquid Souveran or my technique.

2.SG: How many times?

Two layers. 2 hours pause between applications. Second layer was overnight. LS doesn't do much in this formula. I think you can use any carnauba for topper. Probably most important part was SG. I use this technique:

1. Dawn wash

2. PPCL

3. Buff on Klasse SG

4. 2 hours pause

5. Buff off SG

6. Next layer of SG

7. Sleep

8. Buff off GS

Just make sure you use SG properly. I use dry MF applicator. Put very thin line of sg across it and buff on area of my hood. I buffing it until I almost can't see haze. It requires some work. But not so much if you use correct amount of SG :)
