Will an orbital buffer help at all...?

Until I can get my PC ordered I need to get something done to my car desperatly. Swirl marks are getting horrible and all I have access to is an orbital. Will a good swirl mark remover and an orbital make any noticeable changes at all...or should I just wait till the PC gets here?

Not any damage from me directly. It is a 95, and used...just trying to finally finish up the damage that was done by the owner before me.

Just getting frustrating looking at the car in the right light and seeing how evident the swirls are. You have to look at it at the right angle and in the right light to see. You can't just stand away from the car and tell. But i'm anal about it and want it taken care of.

Just didn't know if I could make any progress with an orbital. I've been procrastinating about getting the PC for whatever reason.

The problem with orbitals is that they do not spin fast enough to really be effective. What tends to happen is users go to more aggressive products to make up for poor machine performance.

If it's drivin you nuts you might want to use a glaze with the orbital to at least cover up and fill the swirls until more serious work can be done.

Hopefully you have ordered a variety of pads and products to accompany the PC. That way you won't have to keep waiting until you can attack the car.

Please post some 'before and afters' so we can all see the transformation.

Good luck.:up

I'll be sure to post some before and after shots of it. I have some pictures of the car up in the "members pictures" forum. But it actually looks pretty good there. As I said, you have to be in the right light at the right angle to really see it.
