Why I'm not topping my Zaino

I've decided this time (by time, I mean each time I think my car has too many imperfections, so it hit it with the buffer and abrasives and start from scratch ;)) that I'm not going to top my Zaino with anything. Why? I just found it to be a pain when I saw a bunch of swirls develop that were probably only Zaino deep, but I wasn't sure if I still had S100 on top and if I could apply more Zaino to fill them in. So, to everyone who tops something with natural waxes... Have fun, but I'll stick to good old polymer sealants and nothing else. In fact, I also kind of like the look of Z-5 over Z-2. Applies nicer too.
 
One thing about #26 or the likes applied over Zaino .. if you don't like it .. A good Dawn wash or 2 gets rid of the topper. And if I want to add laters I just add the ZFX to the Z and away I go.

Actually, some waxes, like #26 and Collinite for example, might not be all removed by Dawn. I know for a fact that #26 is not easily removed by Dawn, because it is a polymer blend. I tried it on my wife's car. How do I know? The patch that I applied #26 still beaded like it was freshly applied, after a Dawn wash. The only thing which removed it all was Mother's pre-wash cleaner, and/or AIO.
 
Sad, little man, all I can say is AMEN!!! I love the Zaino look on my old white car. Once tried topping with S100, but I didn't really see any improvement in shine. But I do know that Zaino's polymers are sufficiently "finnicky" that I had compromised my Zaino work. I'm with you. I'll just stick with my watery, deep Zaino look on the show car, and play around with combinations on the cars that don't matter so much to me.
