Who says you can't get depth out of a white car?

So the other day I did a full detail on a beautiful 2001 BMW 525i. However, it had a few light swirls marks and oxidation that didnt do the car justice. Anyways, here is my process:

Exterior:

- Hand wash with Meguiars GC shampoo

- Mother's clay bar

- Meg's DACP via PC at 5.5 (2 passes on hood, roof, and trunk)

- Meg's Speed Glaze via PC at 2

- Meg's Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax via PC at 1

- Meg's Cleaner Wax on wheels

- Meg's Gold Class Wax on wheels

- Scrub really hard at tires and wheel wells with dawn b/c I ran out of tire dressing!

- Mother's Showtime Shine Spray

Interior:

- Vacuum of course

- Folex carpet cleaner (I love this stuff)

- Leather foam on seats, dash, and plastic (suprisingly worked really good on the plastic)

- Leather wipes on steering wheel

- Damp MF on wood

Next day before delivery:

- Meguiars Gold Class Wax by hand

- Mother's Showtime Shine Spray

Here are the pictures.

Beautiful un-Bangled 5 series! :)

The paint looks terrific and even those BBS style wheels look immaculate!

Thanks, your comments and criticism means a lot to me! :)

Hey, are you never on AIM or something? I added you but you seem to never be online.

Nice job. Those wheels look like a major PITA. I am a big fan of Folex too. I only wish you could buy a gallon container.

nice work -- great depth for white.

makes me feel guilty for not finding the time to do my 5er.

Hey, just an f.y.i. some Lowe's do carry gallons of the Folex. I just grabbed a gallon the other week at my local Lowe's. hope you can find it at your's. it will save you a couple of bucks :woot:
