Holy crap, there are hundreds, post your question or indicate what kind of "information" you seek. There are over 50,000 members here.

EDIT: Members: 61,484, Active Members: 2,850

there are so many members on here that do incredible work, to say one is "best" (or to leave someone out) over another would be an injustice....

I would think that Ivan, being one of the top detailers in the world, could help you out :)

I hope you're being as sarcastic as I am haha. I'm with Setec on this one... many great rotary users here so just post up your questions and you'll get some good answers.

Yea I think you learn a thing or two every new panel you do, especially those curves or tight spots. Granted I only have about 3 years experience with a rotary.

There is no best,..... you understand and learn how to use the machine and your products/pads properly/proficiently and that is it.... Experience has something to play in it as well but each individual can progress at different rates.

like i said in the first thread i am not trying to offend anyone. i just wanted to talk/pm the person for some advice with out having to post it on the forum, Yet.

thanks

I think was a valid question but with so many people an so many ways people have to use a rotary it is going to be hard to say who is the best. i think better said who knows how to use a rotary the way a rotary was meant to be used. did i say that right lmao!!!!

WHY YOU GOTTA USE THE ROTARY? WHATS WRONG WITH THE RANDOM ORBITAL ORBITAL? IT IS THE BEST

YEE HAW !!! :woot: Just kidding. Always wanted to be a BLURTING Barney, at least once. :heelclick

Very wise to learn how to use a rotary. I can help, as can dozens of guys on this forum. I picked up my first rotary in 1987. "Taught myself" how to buff on the hood of my Toyota pickup using a Hitachi rotary. Thoroughly swirled it out and wondered what the heck happened. That kicked off my interest in paint polishing. Funny- that Hitachi and the truck were stolen from me at different times. Luckily I got the truck back (still have it). Never got the Hitachi back (best thing that was ever stolen from me because it forced me to get a Black & Decker).

Feel free to contact me via PM if I can help. :2thumbs:

:funnypost:LOLOL

I am the best- I can burn an edge with a rotary like no one else:buffing: I'm so good with a rotary I can splatter the car next to me as well. Accumulator is skilled at braking through the clear with a PC. I haven't been able to duplicate that yet but I'm working on it.:p

Not me! I'm still trying to learn mine. Metabos spin the opposite direction from the Flex DA I'm used to, so that makes for a very sharp learning curve. Seriously, check the Click and Brag and Pro Detailer Before and After forums. Judge for yourself. I specifically enjoy reading DaveKG and Rydawg posts because they often post nice descriptive posts with a lot of pictures.

To judge a best, there would have to be some sort of competition, and last I heard, the autopian olympic committee hasn't chosen a location yet for the first event.

Can't determine the best using pictures on the internet. As long as you can remove the defects and leave a hologram free finish that is still hologram free 6 months later, you are a proficient rotary user.
