Whitehorse Auto Spa: Ford Explorer Sport-Trac

WAS

Driven
Another daily driver cleaned up by Whitehorse Auto Spa. I don't have the model year handy, but I'm pretty sure it's early 2000s.

Process:

- General wash

- Interior vinyl cleaned with Tornador tool and proprietary APC

- Leather cleaned with AA's leather cleaner, then conditioned with Car Beauty Pro's leather treatment

- Floors cleaned with AA's multipurpose APC

- Glass cleaned with Blue Planet glass cleaner

- Vinyl and floors dressed with Meg's Supreme Shine dressing

You'll notice in the last before shots that the driver's seat has rocks and sand on it. I've seen dirty seats before, but these are probably some of the bigger rocks I've seen to date.

Enjoy !

Very nice. That's actually from 05 to current gen as far as body style. The older ones had a column shift.

Now that's a great turn around. It's nice to see interior before and after pics. on here. Too many of us, including myself have been only showing paint correction. Great work.

Thanks ! And I stand corrected, 2005+ it is :)

Talk about sh1tting bricks... LMAO.

lol ! I've seen stranger things, but I assume the regular driver doesn't sit all the way back in the seat. Which is good, otherwise I think the leather would have been ripped...

Thanks ! We don't get a ton of paint corrections, mainly due to the geographical area (not many folks caring about the looks of their paint at blowing snow and -65 degrees F, lol), I mainly get interiors. This one is fairly average for what we see, minus the seat-based-rocks of course.

That's a 2nd Gen: 07+. There was no 06 model year Sport Trac. The 05s are first gens. Either way, it was a disgrace -- especially for a Limited. I can't understand how people let new $35K+ vehicles get in this condition. Oh well, I guess it's safe to say he "uses it as a truck". My ST interior stays in the "after" condition. The vinyl floor is easy to clean.

Great job!

Amazing turn around, how long did it take?

Thanks ! Around 7 man-hours. Which is just about an hour longer than it would normally take for a vehicle in this type of condition (leather and vinyl flooring take longer to do than carpet, shampooing with a heated extractor is much quicker).

lol, this is a fairly average interior for us, I've seen everything from $60K Yukons to $20K Versas with fairly dirty interiors resembling this one. Our winters here have a lot to do with it, especially on carpets, with melting slush and snow. And thanks !
