Whitehorse Auto Spa: 2008 Dodge Journey R/T

WAS

Driven
This is a detail we did last year actually, just getting around to the pics now. This vehicle will be re-visiting us in the next few weeks for its spring clean-up. I'm honestly not a fan of Dodge or Chrysler, but this is one very, very nice vehicle.

Exterior:

- Basic wash

- Wheels sprayed with Wheel Brite wheel cleaner and then rinsed, then cleaned with Nevr-Dull cotton wadding metal / chrome polish

- Tires dressed with Meguiar's Hot Shine

Interior:

- Interior vacuumed out and then carpets extracted, leather cleaned and dressed with AA Leather Gel

- Vinyl and plastic cleaned with AA APC, then dressed with Meg's Supreme Shine

- Windows cleaned with Simoniz aerosol glass cleaner (HORRIBLE stuff IMO, I haven't bought it since and never will again)

- Little tree "New Car Scent" hung from rear view mirror :chuckle:

OMG I had no idea those wheels were chrome form the before pics. good job!

Hahahaha, I literally thought that exact same thing while I was posting them ! Thanks !

Great job! No pics of the "little tree"? I was considering one of these, but the wifey was not a huge fan. I like the looks of wagons. She doesn't. In the end, I'm glad we didn't get one because we found a new Aspen (Hemi) instead.

Great job!

Doesn't "R/T" stand for "road/track"? I love performance-oriented mini-vans.. lol

Thanks ! R/T in any Chrysler product stands for Chryler's Racing Team, their specialty team that take the base model of a vehicle and gives it some "pep" ;)

I spy Dirty pedals!!!! :nono

lol, I figured someone might notice those :chuckle: I don't clean pedals, I don't touch them. In my pre-university days, I worked at a very reputable detail shop that got successfully sued because they cleaned the pedals (the customer said that without all the mud on the pedal, it was too slippery for his shoes). That scared me enough to never ever touch pedals. It actually has its own section on my vehicle sign in form (explaining that we don't touch, clean or dress clutch, brake or gas pedals).
