White Shoe Polish on Trim

My sons' car had white shoe polish "applied" to the windows a few nights ago. By the time he washed it the polish had run down on the window trim! I can not get this stuff off the rubber trim. I have tried every cleaner I have and nothing seems to touch it. Has anyone run into this before or have any suggestions on getting this out of the trim, it looks terrible! Thanks......

Alot of people have had this problem. On my f10 the bed cap is really bad about anything touching it because it is porous. i have tired Peanut butter, wd-40, and an eraser. None of them took it off. I am now looking for a plastic cleaner that won't hurt auto finishes.

Seems like a cloth dipped in Mr Clean took some of it off the plastic type trim. Had to be carefull and not get it on the paint. I was thinking about using a black stain (trim rejuvenator type stuff like "Back to Black) and seeing if it will cover the white

polish.
