I am a relative newbie and I am wondering about the mechanics of the pad and polish combination. Because the paint on my Acura is relatively soft, I was planning to start using a white LC pad with Menzerna Intensive Polish PO91E to remove swirling/light scratches. If that doesn't do the trick switch to a more aggressive pad (green or orange) with PO91E. If that doesn't work switch to a more aggressive polish with white pad, etc. The main question is: Can the white pad be used in this pad/polish progression or, because it has little or no cutting power, should I only use the white pad with a finishing polish?
