White "Meter Maid" lines!

Anyone know how to get those lines off tires? I believe they are used as a time stamp by parking enforcers in temporary parking spots around town.



I have tried EO All Wheel Cleaner and a wheel brush and scrubbed the tires pretty well, but there is still some white remaining and in other areas the tires look to have faded a little.



I don't want to apply dressing over it if I can get it off first.



Anyone know how to get those things off?

I've always heard this referred to as "chalking" the tires, so it may still be chalk...but I can't help you with the removal.
