White lettering on black dash smearing

Does anybody else have this problem? My 2001 Accord has white lettering on buttons for cruise, white lettering on the plastic turn stalk for the lights, etc.



When I apply 303, it sometimes smears the white, seems to be taking a little of the white off, makes a mess..



What products can I use for the interior that would not cause this??

I've had this happen on some cars. I guess the automaker didn't test for this. When I worked for a cell phone mfr we'd use all sorts of products on faceplates and keypads to test durability of the lettering.



Anyway, my advice would be to not apply any products to controls that have lettering. There's no major benefit anyway. 303 will work fine on the rest of the interior.

Also, be careful with APC's when cleaning controls, it will do the same thing.....
