White Basecoat/clearcoat questions

Was getting touch up paint today, and in the booklet it said that the oxford white is both in the basecoat and the clearcoat, so I would need both for a perfect match. Now I'm kind of scared using the abrasive products to remove swirls. Is this something I need to be concerned about?

Thanks

If your paint is two stage, ie., colorcoat/clearcoat, you will have to use 2 touch up paints...the color coat, which you would use to fill in the chip, and the clear coat, which will give it the gloss to match the rest of the paintwork.

I use microbrushes (available at most hobby shops) to apply touch up paint. They are inexpensive.
