Ok I not to good with the camera and documenting my before and after pictures but I will give it a try. I detailed a 1965 Corvette Fuel Injected 4-speed car all original the other day and fell in love with the car. The car was is mint condition and restored to the tee.
On to the process:
Wash with Dawn to remove old wax
Meg clay bar using Z7 and water as lube
Pulled inside and inspected the paint and there was little to no swirls so I used Griots fine polish with there polishing pad.
After going over the car with the polish I backed the car out and rewashed with Z7
I then inspected the paint once again decided on z-5 pro (3 coats)
Wiped down with Z8
The car was clean to begin so the afters are not the best but I think it turned out good.
Before
After washing the car
And finally the afters
The engine bay and wheels were left alone since this is a original and tire shine takes off points in car shows.
Thanks for looking and any comments/suggestion are always welcome
