Right now, as ive listed before, i am getting ready to start detailing and doing some hardcore practicing. Ive got right now:

SSR1
Ex-p
Natty's

Im looking at edge DC pads and want to know which pad would be optimal for each product. I know Ex-p should prob be a finishing pad (i think) and natty's should be applied by hand but im not sure if i need some sort of cutting pad for the ssr1?

Once again, you guys are freakin' awesome, thanx in advance guys/girls!

Oh! id also like to ask you what you guys think of Mother's Clay. Ive got a new bar of it... is it of good quality? thanx again!

No need for cutting (yellow edge) or Black at ALL. I would go with Light Green. You can use the light green for other polishes that I know you will buy soon :D

Mothers is a good retail, as is ClayMagic. Try it out!

so right now with those products i would ONLY need the Light Green Pad? (im going to buy other of course but im just curious in regards to this instance.) Would you guys recomment anything else to add to that lineup?

btw woob what other polishes would u recommend.

damn i somehow manage to ask 5,000 questions in a few sentences lol... sorrrrry guys

oh and one more thing... whats different about the DA pads compared to the 2000's? im trying to learn all i can, thanx again of course

Yellow , Green and Blue is what I would suggest. The difference between DA pads and 2000 pads is DA pads are for Daul Action style Orbital Buffers and 2000 pads are for a Rotory Buffer . Good luck :bigups

BTW the Mothers Clay is fine. Its probably the same clay as some of the other companies clay .

Actually, Edge also makes a 2000 pad series for the dual action buffer. It is called "Edge2000 DA". The 2000 nomenclature indicates that the pad uses the quick connect brass mounting system. The non-2000 pads use velcro backing instead.

For pad choices, I would suggest trying the SSR1 with Edge's Blue pad. SSR1 is a very mild swirl remover and may be better paired with an equally mild pad texture. I step up to the green pad when using SSR2 or SSR2.5.

Mother's clay is very good. It's my favorite locally available clay brand.

I like it as it does the job and is available locally.
