Which wax?

I currently do not own any wax (oh the horror...). I have just been using EX. I am looking to get a good wax topper. I would actually like to know 2 good wax toppers, one locally available and one I could order from PAC, etc. The cars I detail (mine only) are bright red, dark gray metallic, and I plan on getting a new car, most likely dark blue metallic. I have read that Natty's is great for light colored cars, but I don't have any light colored cars. On dark metallics, will Natty's still look good? Or should I go for a wet look on a dark car? The cars are prepped with Poorboy's products (PP, SSR1 or 2 as necessary, also own PwC and EX) exclusively. I am looking into Souveran ($$$) also, or if I can find S100. Looking for super 'pop'. Occasionally work in the sun (not shade). I know most waxes you must use in the shade, any that you don't?

Thanks

The Natty's will look good on the bright red for sure. And it's only $15. You can't beat that. You could keep it all in the Poorboy's family :)

How will Natty's do on dark colors (the dark gray metallic and dark blue metallic)? Clear and reflective, or deep and wet (that sounds odd...)?

Very nice pics!! I think I will go with the Natty's for now. I might try S100 or Pinnacle at some point to see if I like reflective vs. wet better. but since I am already going to be ordering stuff from Dwayne, I might as well get the Natty's while I am at it.

Thanks!

I haven't tried the Natty's yet, but I can't argue with the pics in the thread posted above! Also I've heard so many good things about it too from so many. I don't think you can go wrong with it. I've tried the trade secret on my red truck and really like it, but after trying the Souveran, I much prefer it over the trade secret. My wife has a dark navy blue metallic and the souveran is better on that than the trade secret as well - in my opinion anyway. So at this point, the souveran is my favorite - both the liquid and the paste.

For a wax you can get locally, S100 is tough to beat. Meguiar's #26 (paste) is also a good choice. Although, I don't care much for waxes that stain trim like #26 does.

For a wax you can get online.................... Souveran, Natty's, Trade Secret, Pinnacle Signature, or P21S (same as S100) would be a fine choices.
