so a customer asked me which wax he should use on his car now, to maintane the shine after i was done. i didnt realy know what to tell him because i knew he was probably just going to go to Canadian Tire (Target, Walmart, etc) and get something there. I said id get back to him and let him know

So, what wax could be recommended as an after-care product?

i was thinkin more along the lines of this...

LINK!

...if its not readily available for the average car owner, they wont go out of their way to find it and use it.

Meguiar's #26 would work great.

Amazing wax for a well prepped surface but no cleaners. I think the average joe benefits more from cleaners than longer lasting protection that is smeared over bugs, tar, etc. Problem with a nice cleaner wax/AIO is he might not be coming back to you often!

i dont intend for him to come back. he said he just wanted a good surface to maintane. hes into claybarring himself and all that stuff. hes already a car enthusiast, he just wanted me to get his new (to him) car looking nice so he can maintane it the rest of the way.

I'd go with the Megs cleaner wax or the 3 step system if he is up for all that work. The NXT isn't a bad choice if he waxes monthly.

NXT 2 is a good product

+1 I recommend it to most of my customers after I work on their cars. Or, give them one of those little cleaner wax bottles that comes in the Meg's Smooth Surface kit.
