Which Speed for use with makita?

Im using Menzerna Final Polish along with a 3M white finishing pad and was wondering which speed do you guys recommend based upon the info i've given you above?



I have yet to try out this particular combo and was wondering what you experts have to say.

I use PO85RD to refine and jewel most cars I work on. I spread with speed 1, work up to speed 2 with pressure, then get 2 clicks past speed 2 (1200rpms) and release all pressure as I work back down to speed 1(600 RPMs) for about 2 minutes to really jewel the finish
