which sealant EX, EXP,or WG for black car

These are the ones I am looking at, have access to. Which one should I use as the final sealant topper on a black volvo that will be mostly be doing 24/7 duty outdoors. I need durability. However, I would prefer something that gives a deep look on black. Could anyone give their experience on how long these three last before needing to be reapplied?
No carnuaba please (I have already decided on that and will mostly use those for the garage queens). Thanks again for your assistance everyone:thanks .

Ahhhh, WG is just the thing for you and your black auto for a few reasons. My main sealant on my daily driver (dark royal blue pearl) is WG, and I decided this after using the other 2 plus many others over the past 12 months. My daily driver is driven 150+ miles daily, so durability and ease of maintenance are critical to me.

1. WG has that carnauba look, much like EX does, so you get the best of both worlds - sealant durability and the deeper, glossier look of a carnauba wax.
2. WG Sealant Spray is available to quickly add sealant protection and enhance the finish after a wash if you don't have time to add another layer of sealant.
3. WG's cure time is only 12 hours, as compared to 24 hours for the others. This means you can apply 2x as many coats with WG as you can with the others. Even if you don't wait the manuf recommended period of time to cure, the point is the cure time is 1/2 the others.
4. Ease of application and removal - IMO, WG and EX-P are tied here, whereas EX is tuff to apply thinly and buff off.

These are my opinions. Thanks for asking :)

Best look - EX

Best durability - EX-P

EX has carnauba in it, yet you say no carnaubas. Can you elaborate?

Sorry, I meant no carnauba paste. As I don't want to apply the paste theoretically every week or two.
One of the reasons I chose EX and WG was because they gave the carnauba look.

These by the way are great feedback. I knew it would be a touch choice between EX and WG. I Presume that EXP does not give the same deep wet look? Is it more reflective?

I actually like WG as a base, and a few layers of EX to top it. If I had to choose between the two, it would be EX for me.

If you go with EX, I would recommend picking up a bottle of QW+ for general upkeep. An ounce or less via a finishing pad will take care of your ride from head to toe and it's just as durable as EX IMO. It will leave you that 'just detailed' look and should take you less than a half hour to apply, remove, and put away your PC.

It's always good to have a bottle of S&G on hand too :)

I've used all these on my last black BMW and the one that I am currently driving....WG is the one that I keep coming back to...it takes about a day to settle down but its the one I like the most very shiny

WG has a nice appearance, but the durability is limited, IME. EX-P is probably going to give you the most durability out of those listed.

Great suggetions all. Actually you all have confused me

Actually, I am going to try mgm2003's type of process, but a little different. I will put AIO then EX-P (2x) and then top with WG (monthly). Do you guys think this will
1) last the summer?
2) how long will EXP last as the base?
3) will they bond with each other (it seems they will)?

I will be using Poorboy's S&W and Duragloss AW to maintain. Thanks.

If you're planning to use AIO as a base, then I'd top it with WG first (let stand for 12 hours), then top with EX.

IMO -I think you'll like the look of EX over EX-P on black paint. I did to the point that I ordered a gallon of EX from Poorboys :)

Sounds good. Will try this over the comming few days. Thanks.

I think the WG is awesome. I used to be Klasse SG junkie, but I always had some streaking when I removed it. I remedied that problem by misting the area lightly with water. Some say that compromises the durabilty og Klasse. But back on topic, the WG goes on easy and comes off easy, even if you apply it a little heavy!!!

My vote goes to EX-P+ (newer version). It gave me really good durability last winter on my mom's van. EX wasn't too durable for me, but I was also using the older formula. WG was a complete joke for me. It had a really nice glow, but for the durability I got with it I'd rather use a carnuaba paste. I've also tested it on a number of cars, so I feel I gave it an adequate analysis.

Honestly, you probably won't notice to much of a difference between the three; it's more psychological than anything else so go with the more durable one (EX-P).

Here's a couple thoughts if you don't want to do WG...

-Zaino Z5Pro and treated with Z8 spray sealant - Maximum durability and the Z5Pro gives a little more of a carnauba look similiar to WG, with durability exceeding anything and everything, including the EX's.

or,

-Blackfire and treated with HGAS after you get a few layers of BF on the car. This will give you the look of a carnauba with the BF, and HGAS is going to give you excellent durability.
