All About The Bling Bling
Alright so i'm going to be putting a full color full page ad in a local magazine. Going to include a picture of my truck and trailer. But i don't know which one i should go with. i took about 10 earlier today, picked the 4 i like so far which you will see below.

I've set up a poll, please vote for which one you like better. If you have any other opinions or thoughts go ahead and reply.

Also i will be doing some final editing to them before i place the ad. Just minor touch ups.

#1

I like the third picture the best. It shows that you know what you're doing because of the depth and shine on your vehicle. It also shows your equipment, but it isn't the focus of the picture. I think it's best to highlight your abilities rather than your equipment.

My $0.02...

They all look like "I'm selling this truck and trailer" pictures.

Just my opinion though -- take it for what it's worth :)

I picked pic 3. The reason for this is people dont want to see the trailer. They want to see how shiney the truck is. the angle works well for the truck. I think it shows off your work well.

but just my 2 cents

I like #3 as well.
The only thing that I was wondering is how well the pic will look after it goes to print. It may lose some of it's depth and lusture.

Good luck,

That's my concern as well. I would go with #3 if True had a company name on the truck but how many people will be looking at the condition that his work truck is in? I think that they would be more interested in his company info, not his truck. IMO I think the trailer should be a big part of the ad which will accompany the 'Mobile' detailing. The readers may check the trailer out and figure out that they really don't have to do anything to get their car detailed. Sorry for my ramblings...

I like #1 or a refined #2 with a nice side shot lined up perfectly. It shows the truck and trailer- IMO the two most important parts of the pic.

the trailer just adds clutter to the picture, even though you want to advertise as a detailer with detailing supplies and equipment it just looks junky and takes away from the clean truck, remember your selling your detailing services not your equipment.....take some nice pics of your truck ALONE.....

I liked two it shows the whole rig better than in the others. One thing thought is the back ground on the all the pics are a little to busy, which takes away from the rig itself. Nice area that's for sure but not the best back ground is what I think
