which pads to use with menzerna IP and zaino ZPC

my plan was to use these two to polish my frontier and maxima before doing the z5/z2pro polishes on them. i bought the sonus SFX pad kit from autopia-carcare.com which pad should i used with which polish? if i have to use the same pad like a light cutting for both products, can i use the same pad for both polishes during one session?

You use the pad to get the job accomplished. If you are not well versed in paint evaluation then use the least aggressive approach first. One can always move up to a more aggressive approach to dealing with marring and swirls. Just do a small area. Check your work. This is the good way to deal with paint care until you are better versed in paint evaluation.



If I were to use the same pad for different products I would clean the pad of the previous product by washing, rinsing, compress the pad into a towel, then spin dry on the PC. Then put the next product on for the next stage. I personally never mix products on pads.. I know some do but i believe that mixing can give you a whole other set of problems. I like to avoid problems. Especially when mixing two different types of polish from different manufacturers.

thank you! i'll keep that in mind. i guess i should pick up some extra pads too but i don't think it'll get to me on time for next weekend's use.
