Which pad?

Well I will be using the PFW followed by a white LC pad. I was wondering which pad would be a good one to use after that to use to make it even nicer? (to many pads). I was going to pick up the grey, but thought I'd ask before I placed the order. Thanks!



Green Polishing/Finishing Foam

Gray Finishing Foam

Blue Finessing Foam

Red Ultrasoft Wax/Sealant Foam
 
IMHO white might not be abrasive enough of a jump from a PFW. I would suggest the green LC pads from a PFW then finsh out with a black if you are going for a 3 step. It really depends on what products you are using though and what paint you are using it on.



Remember Green is between Orange and White for LC pads.

That's exactly what I was thinking :xyxthumbs



I dunno for the finishing pad....unless the paint is super-soft or something I think it's a matter of certain finishing pads just working better with certain products.



For final burnishing of hard clear with 1Z High Gloss, I like the blue pads.
