Which pad to use with Menz 106FA on black BMW?

I clayed my X3 2005 model. Then polish with my PC Menz 3.02 and edge yellow pad. Now I want to use Menz 106 and then Klasse all in one. Which pad to use with Menz 106FA on black BMW? I have green,white,orange,white edge and some Sonus pads. How much time do I need to work this polish? The same as 3.02 or less?



After Klasse I will wax 2 coats with P21s.
 
I would go with the white polishing pad. Good for working in a final polish without any marring.

By the way, nice car! I drive an '04 Z4, bright red 6 speed 3.0i.
 
I would inspect the surface for micromarring before using 106FF. In some cases I've found that 106FF will fill and hide any micromarring.



If micromarring is present, try 106ff on an orange pad, do an IPA wipedown and go from there.
 
I never used before Edge pads,so i would advice you to use the white Sonus polishing pad...Speed 5 will be OK.I that does not remove the haze try speed 6..Work it until the polish break down completely.For me 1-2 passes are enough most of the time...

But i will suggest you to buy some LC pads...They are working great for me, especially on hard CC...

I used green edge and the KAIO. I will post pics asap... I want to wax it 2 coats with Vict Concours first and then take photos
 
Some "along the way" pics are nice too! It helps us see just how much was prep and how much was final product when we see your reflection in the black mirrors.
