Which pad kit should I get?

My PC 7336 is arriving next week and I need to get some pads and a backing plate for it.



I'm in Canada so I'm kind of limited in where I can get pads. I did, however, find a couple of good kits at carcaresmart.com.



One kit has a 5" backing plate and 6" pads. The second kit has a 5" backing plate and 6.5" pads.



Will the 6" pads tear less easily than the 6.5" pads? Will one kit be more out of balance (i.e. cause more vibration) than the other?



They don't carry the 6" backing plate. Which kit should I get?

get the 5" backing plate and 6.5" pads. The bigger pads have a slightly bigger velcro area, which reduces or negates the chances of the edge of your backing plate digging into the foam pad itself and making a groove or trench between the velcro and the pad itself, which happens oh to easily with the samller pads.....
