Which Meguiar's products are comparable to IP and FP?

I'm thinking, 82 and 80, both PC-safe. Or maybe #9 and Step 1? Not that I'm a Meguiar's purist, not yet; I still love the Menzernas, but it would be nice to be able to get substitutes locally, in a pinch.

Thanks, Bill. I'm curious about more than abrasiveness, too. Are the products comparable in the way they break down? Meguiar's products usually contain oils and fillers, don't they? I'm not against them, but I'm curious about the products working in the same way, too. I guess the best way to learn is to use them, and that's what I'll do, but I'll collect as much information first, as well.

Is that your pup in the picture? I have a 4-year old female bully, red brindle and white. Best danm dog I've ever had.

Hi Tom,

Menzerna and maybe some of the 3m polishes ( possible Meg's Hand Polish too ?) are the only ones I'm aware of completely filler three.

The bulldog is actually my gf's. He's the oldest one, I think he's 6 years old. She also has a female and two younger ones. The female just had four puppies. A number of people are already in line to possibly buy them for Christmas gifts
