Which LSP to apply in summer heat?

This my seem like a silly question because we are heading into the winter months.....I have noticed a few LSP products suggest that they be applied in temps lower than 85F or 75F. Rejex, Klasse, Werkstatt, to name a few. Well that doesn't happen very often in Phx, especially in the summer. Much attention is given to which LSP can survive a harsh winter, but which LSP do you all use in the summer? I'm most concerned with which one give the least headache when applying in the summer. I've used Blackfire in the summer with great results. What else are ya'all using?

I have applied most of the polymers here in S fla inthe heat and found no problem - Rejex, UPGP, ICE, etc...it's not the temp outside that matters, it's the heat of the surface...anytime before 10 am and past 3pm even in ariz should be fine. If you can get the car in a garage or under a shade tree to do it, all the better...

How about Finish Kare Hi Temp Wax? It's a synthetic

I think the surface temp plays a bigger role than the anything else.

Poorboys World EX-P

+1. Ive recently been using BFWD, more or less just to give it a fair stab. While it does leave a great slick finish, I dont know what it does in extreme heat or direct sunlight yet. However, I know exactly what EX-P does in it...it does just as well as it would in a climate controlled shop.

That's one of the things I've enjoyed about Steve's products. They are user friendly, sun safe, great results and come at a real competitive cost.

His EX-P is one I've used for years.:D

This is an interesting thread and sort of left me scratching my head. Now I live in New England and while some may dismiss it as a region that doesn't see extreme sun or heat you've never been here during July and August.

Several times during these two months we typically see temps anywhere from the high 90's and as high as 108 degrees, no this is not a typo.. We don't see the extended heat as points South of me but July and August are brutal with high humidity.

I've always wondered how the surface temperature of especially dark colored vehicles impacts the protective products applied to them.

Thank you for the insight!! :bigups

This is an interesting thread that TID10 has started, I always find that the humility plays a factor on any LSP out there.

how about good-ol-reliable collinite 845 liq ins wax.
i really love using that in the warm weather bc its so easy to use. leave the bottle in the sun while your prepping the car & then once your ready to wax, it will be so nice to work with. apply it in the shade & make sure the surface is cool. i pref to use foam pads to apply all waxes & i make sure that foam is moist with water. if your worried about streaking, no shaboogies...1 or 2 mists of water on each section with a fresh mf towel will clean any of that up.
happy waxin!

bfwd is my favorite here in FL. i do want to try Finish Kare 1000P Hi-Temp Paste Wax after todd helme's write up in the forum.
