Which Glaze to use and should I ?

I am going to strip my wife's car and do a complete detail I have Chemical Guys Black Light glaze and Chemical Guys EZ-Cream Glaze. I have only used each one time and the only difference I can see from the label is apparently the Black Light has some sealer in it. I am going to top the glaze with a sealer and am wondering if the small amount of sealer in the Black Light will interfere with the dedicated sealer adhering properly over the glaze. OR...since the paint is in excellent condition and I will clay first, should I even mess with the glaze?

I look at Blacklight as more of a sealant than a glaze, but it does have some fillers in it. If you want to stick with CG, and want some good results, get some V36. Use it with a white pad, then Blacklight with finishing pad, then wax. You'll be glad you did. That EZ Cream glaze isn't too impressive, but there again I'm used to Poorboys glazes which dominate this department.

+1 on the Poorboy's I've recently used Black Hole and White Diamond and I couldn't believe the results.

On your question of "small amount of sealer in the Black Light will interfere with the dedicated sealer adhering properly over the glaze"
I'm not sure on this maybe someone else could chime in with more knowledge.

If you aren't looking to purchase anything and just want to use what you have I would use the EZ-Cream Glaze and then seal over the top. Even if the paint is in excellent condition and you aren't looking to fill you can get some extra gloss out of glaze, I haven't used the CG glazes but I bet they go on and come off real easy so it might add 20-30 mins extra to your detail. I would say do it because once you seal you might be like "I should have glazed before" and you really can't go back

If you are looking to purchase something else I would HIGHLY recommend Poorboy's Black Hole on a dark colored car or Poorboy's white diamond on a light colored car.
