Which foam pads for a PC?

Just bought a new Porter Cable to remove light swirls from the clear coat and to remove polish/wax. What pads should I purchase and what brand? I was thinking about Sonus or Griots pads.

I'd go Sonus DAS or Propel. Both are awesome pads. If you want to go basic, go with regular LC DA pads.

You definitely can't beat cheap... especially if they are quality pads from Patrick at Excel Detail. :up

I've used both Sonus DAS and SFX and both are excellent.



The SFX are a little smaller than the DAS pads but are more hydroscopic and tend to swell and keep the polish working a little longer.



From what others have said the Propel pads are similar to the Sonus DAS pads but cheaper.



I think most pads are good these days and you'll be happy with whatever you get once you learn their characteristics. :up
