Well, I got the LC variable contact pads. 7.5"

I was wondering, is there a so called *best/most effecient* to place the polish on these pads?

Does it make a difference where it goes. Wanna make sure I'm doing everything like the pros.

Thanx.

Okay,

Makes sense guys, highest point that touches the surface first.

But i have one more question...

So the Outer and inner parts stay completely free of product? I was thinking, If the outer and Inner parts are dry and come in contatct with the paint, won't that cause marring from a dry pad spinning on the paint surface??

X pattern with a rotary and circle near out edge with PC.

Scott,

Is the X pattern *only* for the Initial (first) time product is applied to pad or is it everytime "X" on the pad?

If I remember what Mike Phillips was doing when I was at the Meguiars/Autopia meet, he was using an X pattern the whole time.
