3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film?

I see alot of people post about Xpel, and I found this other place called Clearmask (http://www.clearmask.com/vehicle_page.php).

Am I correct in assuming they're all selling the same stuff, the 3M Scotchgard?

Clearmask also has this other product called Aerogard, which they say is better than the regular stuff. They have a letter from 3M saying so: http://www.clearmask.com/aerogardpage/3M Clearmask Letter August 2005.pdf

So what's everybody's take/opinion on this?

Thanks!

I know alot of people are scared of it, but ebay has really good prices on front end masks. I saw one there for my car under 275 dollars. It included full front bumper, first 18" of fenders, first 18" of hood, a-pillars, headlights, and mirrors. Was a great deal, and I regret not getting it because now, 2 months after i bought my car, i have a nice pair of paint chips. one on the bumper and one on the hood. both of which would've never occured if i had that clear bra installed.

I think they're all OEM by 3M. If I were to get it done on curved and tight areas, I'd get it professionaly done. I'd only try to install it on flat areas, like the lower parts of a door.
