Where to buy Car Brite Xtra Duty?

The interior of my wife's SUV needs some serious love. Since my steamer is broken, I'm left to doing it the old fashioned way. :)

After seeing the great results MrClean81 gets with Car Brite Xtra Duty, I'd like to buy a few cans. Only problem is I can't seem to find a place to buy it from.

Where are you guys getting your Car Brite Xtra Duty?

You wont find a place online for it. Contact a distributor and they will bring it right to your door. Ive dealt with Car Brite for going on 12 years and have never had anything but OUTSTANDING service and products. Ive got a couple cases of Xtra Duty on hand. If you would like to try a can out before you contact a route salesman, PM me.

Yes you need to contact a distributor in your area if there's one. Wish one can just order it over the net from them. Maybe try facebook which their on and maybe someone near your area can here you SuperBee.

Superbee, certainly not trying to dissuade you on the Xtra Duty, but merely offering what I believe to be a viable alternative and definitely should be more readily available...Blue Coral Dri-Clean. It has been a long time performer for me.

Wow, thanks a ton!

I kinda doubt Car Brite will even have a sales rep in my rural Utah town.

I'll shoot ya a PM once I get into Seattle late tonight. :)

Its no problem. I use the stuff like a religion and always keep a ton of it around. Mr Clean's suggestion of Blue Coral is an excellent alternative, and it even smells nice (Xtra Duty doesnt really have a scent). Both are great products.

The Blue Coral is some nice stuff; I also like and use a lot of the Turtle Wax offering, called either PowerOUT! or Interior1 depending on where you buy it. Has oxi-clean type agents in it as well as an odor eliminator, works excellent on heavy stained spots.

Yup, I saw your posts about the Blue Coral, and have already ordered some from amazon. :)

Really do appreciate this! I'm out of town right now... when I get home, I'll send ya a PM.

Thanks, Charlie, I'll plan on picking some of those products up, as well.

I usually use my steamer for car interiors. Unfortunately, the last time I used it, it quit on me....permanently.

So now I'm on a dry foam kick... think I'll pick up quite a few different ones to try. They'll have their work cut out for them, as I haven't kept up on the interior of the wife's SUV since the steamer quit a bit over a year ago. My four year old (and her friends) have trashed the inside of it. Root beer on the headliner, seat belts, hard candy melted into various fabric pieces, old M&M's melted in hard to reach areas, crayon marks, felt marker stains, ice cream, etc.

The carpets will be a breeze; I have a full complement of Pro-Chem carpet products, but I'm concerned about the headliner, etc.

I'm really looking forward to trying out MrClean81's wool pad/rotary polisher method with the dry foam for general cleaning after hitting the tough spots.

If you use my method, please post some pics in that thread if you don't mind. Id love to see the results others get from it. Dry foam is absolutely that way to go on headliners. Something else to try with it is getting a straight vent brush and an air gun or steamer, spraying a panel or dash section down with foam, brushing out every nook and cranny, and then blowing it out with air or steam.

Im running a special on trade secrets btw. BOGO :)

Excellent, I'll try that!

I'll post pics, too, but it's gonna be a bit before I get to her car. I'm at work right now, then SEMA starting tomorrow night for four days, then three days at work, then I'm detailing a co-workers Porsche, then three days at work, then (finally) the wife's car. :D

Just trying to get all the products lined up so I have them when I finally have time to work on her car.

Thanks again for the help!
