Where do you store your Sheepskin Mitt?

So you've rinsed it from use and maybe wrung it out real well... Now what? Where do you let it dry? The same place you store it? Where do you store it?



Same goes for pads. I usually set them out on a clean cheapo MF and another clean cheapo MF on top until they're dry. Then store them in a plastic bin with my pads, MFs and mitts...

I have some J hooks hanging from the ceiling of my patio, so I put it up there. Whenever I need it, I bring it down and SPANK it very HARD to get the dust out.



I do the same thing you do for pads.

after i'm done using the washmitt, i use a pant hanger and hang it by the little loop on the cuff, and let it air dry. once it's dry, i put it in the wash bucket on top of the grit guard and cover the top with a piece of cardboard to prevent any dust, dirt, etc... to settle in.

I rinse mine and hang it on the handle of a floor jack

i throw it in a shoe box after it dries

I just lay them over the side of the bucket. I used to hang 'em up until the loop broke on one of them. I started just leaving that one over the edge of the bucket and noticed there was no difference between it and the ones I kept hanging up. But I'm working in a clean shop with a dehumidifier running all the time, it's a pretty controlled environment. Perhaps that explains how my mitts (from the Autopia store) are holding up so incredibly well despite my neglectful treatment of them :nixweiss
