Where did this package come from.....

My wife orders office supplies from Amazon for her employer and ships them to our home. So things don`t get sent back being undeliverable after office hours.
This weekend I opened a box with another inside. So discarded the larger box and put the other in her car.
Well today she texts me and says the box has detailing supplies in it.
I may call Amazon and see if I can find how this ended up at my home, in her name.
It`s a Chemical Guys HOL132.
Link to retail detailing site removed.

We checked my wife`s Amazon account and never ordered it. But the box I still have is from chemical guys to Amazon.

Anyone understand this mystery?

What is a CG HOL 132? The law is that if you didn’t order it you are not responsible to return it or pay for it. It’s free, whatever it is. I got a Rupes polisher like this. The seller/shipper wanted me to pay for it. I told them I didn’t order it and if they wanted it back to put the money to ship it back in my paypal account. I never heard another word from them. Now I have an extra Rupes 15. That’s why I checked the legality of getting something for nothing.

Better check your credit card and see if you got charged that nearly $100 for a bunch of C/G stuff..

@rlmccarty2000 - I haven`t received an email or anything so I guess I`ll just keep it.
It`s a Chemical Guys kit with 11 items.
Bucket, towels, wash mitt and some liquids.

I checked both my Amazon account and my wife`s. Nothing on it.
But I will tell her to check the company credit card.
Thanks for the heads up.

Has there been a change to the forum rules that I am unaware of? Why are links now being deleted? I thought this was the "open" forum?

You can talk about anything you want, you just can`t provide links to other stores. At least that`s the way I understood it when PBMG took over. I`m not sure how the rule is interpreted if you provide a link to technical information that`s not a "buy" link...you know, like if it was just a tech data page.

Is it possible that due to your browsing history, CG decided to send you some promotional products in exchange for a review?

I mean, Amazon sellers do that, and Big Brother is watching, so if you were browsing detailing products (not even on Amazon) on the same computer your wife uses to order stuff for work (or maybe even not on the same computer, my better half always knows from her computer banner ads what I`ve been looking at on my computer), it may be CG picked that up and chose you for a freebie.

Setec Astronomy is correct, you may discuss any product you like but you are not allowed to link to sites that sell detailing products. It seems that this has been forgotten as there have been a ton of links to commercial retail sites posted recently. In a nutshell it isn’t PBMG or Autopia’s intention to provide a bridge to sites where people might stop and shop. This is stated in Rule #1 in the link you provided with forum rules.

Shawn - If you haven`t yet, check your Paypal account also..
All else, it`s Merry Christmas in June for you !!! :)
