Over the weekend I polished my car with Meguire #7 and finishe it off with s100, couldn't believe how easy it was to put on and take off. Is there any benefit to adding another coat of s100? ans how long does this wax last?

You really cannot layer carnauba waxes. The oils and solvents in them sort of reactivate the previous coat so all you end up doing is smearing around the product. An extra coat basically just evens out the protection and shine, it doesn't increase them for the most part.

Impossible to say accurately how long a wax will last as there are so many variables that affect durability. In general most good carnaubas like S100 will give you 4-8 weeks of protection, maybe more if the car is garaged and well cared for.

I apply a coat of wax every month. In my observation it gives the car a little more depth in color and shine. The least I can say about protection is that it is maintained.

Do you remove the previous coat of wax or just wash with soap and add a top coat of wax on top.

Can you just wash with car wash, and wax on top or the only time u can wax u have to seal/glaze first

If you have the time and the opportunity, I'd suggest re-waxing every month. Especially with S100 which is not known for it's durability. You might also want to hit it up with a QW after washing in between coats.

You don't need to strip the wax to put on another cut. Just make sure the car is clean. Save the stripping for when it's time to do your full detail.

I use s100 and i definatly agree you should wax every month. I've tried layering it and can't tell a difference so to me it's a waste of product.
