"Wheeling paint?"

I had a guy ask me today if I could "wheel his paint" for him. After talking to him I figured out he just wanted to have his repainted and compounded paint final machine polished.



Is this a common term? Sounds like something out of body shop jargon?

"Wheel" is the term given to rotary high speed buffers.

It's kind of an old school term for a rotary or high speed buffer as mentioned.

At work, anyone who can PROPERLY use a rotary buffer is called a "wheel man." ...love the term.
