Okay I did a search both here and on the web. The storey:
I just acquired a set of 3 piece speedline alessio wheels for a great price. The wheels are true round no problems. One of the rims has some slight curbing and the prior owner scratched the hell out of the paint in the center section. No scratches in the alloy itself. I have run into a dead end getting this painted localy. No one wants to touch a 3 piece wheel. My local tire store found a place in CA. They want to take the wheel apart to paint it and it is 220 just for that plus shipping. I have heard about the wheel collesion center in PA and wheel wizards in GA( I called them no dissasembly paint and rim for 180 plus shipping) For those of you who have done this:
1) do I need to get two wheels done so that side will match?
2) any testimonials for either place?
3)Do it myself? how hard and to match the existing paint.? Thanks guys I am depending on you. David
