Wheel Cleaner - Something in between P21s and APC

alrighty gang...

here's a curveball



I have tons of P21S and APC .

My APC stash consists of Meguiars APC+and 1Z Blitz (1Z is my go to APC of choice these days).



Anyhow, I'm looking for a product to use on $$$$ wheels that sits somewhere in strength between P21S and the APC I can let dwell. Just short of what's available stateside, I am very inclined to do so homework to test the infamous P21S red formula.



The P21S doesn't really cut in on wheels that are somewhat cleaned regularly and HP brake pads.
 
You lost me...are you saying that your APC is stronger/more aggressive than P21S, and you are looking for something between the two? I would really consider P21S to be about the same as the APC. That P21S red is supposed to be really strong and I would guess much stronger than APC.
 
Don't laugh too hard but i've been using Dawn with Power Scrubbers

in a spray bottle (diluted around 20:1). :2thumbs:
 
Hmm....:think2! I got it! Why not mix both APC and P21S together? That should equal your mix of "between" them :woot2:
 
GI wheel gel is the answer, used it on HRE C21 wheels with a polished lip and plenty of cleaning power with safety as these wheels are $1,650 a pop(each) as a matter of fact I have a black turbo in the shop with the same wheels in textured black and they are bad........ no acid on those puppys allowed!!.
 
AC, hate to skew off my own thread, but would love to hear your thoughts on the new GI pads compared to the 3M waffle faced ones if you are familiar with the MMM.... Not a fan of the polishing , but love their 6" blue polishing pad.
 
Well my thoughts on the pads are they are top notch, now as everyone here knows Rich and I are tight of GI however if the product does not perform well or excellent I will not put my name in endorsement just for sh**s and giggles.



I am really digging the white fast cut foam pads, and the yellow medium polish pads rock as well. You will just have to see for yourself, but as a guy who like everyone here has spent plenty of money on non-performing products(in the thousands over the years) all I can say is they work.

On a very serious note. PLEASE NEVER MIX ANY 2 CHEMICALS TOGETHER. MY REAL JOB IS ON THE WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTION OF CLEANING CHEMICALS FOR THE JANITORIAL SUPPLY INDUSTRY. FOR 1 WE SEE ALOT OF PEOPLE GETTING HURT MIXING 2 CHEMICALS WITH INGREDIENTS THAT ARE NOT COMPATIBLE AND CAN CREATE A TOXIC MIXTURE. SECONDLY, THEREIS NO MSDS SHEET FOR THE NEWLY CREATED PRODUCT AND SHOULD IF BE NECESSARY TO GIVE FIRST AID, THE FACTS WOULD BE ABSENT.
