Wheel Cleaner : Degreaser

In some of the other posts I see that ppl are diluting degreasers/cleaners and using them as wheels cleaners. I was tinking the same thing. I have three types of degreaser/cleaners at home that I'm thinking of using.

1. Chomp

2. Super Clean

3. Spray Nine

I think chomp would be the safest. I have used Super Clean Multi-Purpose cleaner at full strength and it is very aggressive but you can dilute to 16:1. Spray Nine I don't know much about. Seemed to work well in the engine bay.

My main conern is the finish on the wheels and the tires. I don't want something that will attack the rubber or degrade the finish on the wheels.

Let me know what you guys think?

Thanks

I'm afraid I haven't heard of these degreasers, so I can't comment on them.. Some have had good experience with Simple Green at a pretty high dilution (as in a lot of Simple Green).

I've used Chomp hoping that it is stronger than Amazing Roll-Off. Disappointingly, it wasn't. I haven't sprayed it on my wheels as my wheels are already waxed. I've used on my tires and engine bay undiluted and it's not corrosive, and not a very strong cleaner. Haven't tried Super Clean or Spray Nine yet. :)
