Wheel Brightener dilution rate?

I have a 32 oz sample bottle from Auto Detailing Solutions and it has a mark to dilute it at 4:1, it works very well at that ratio
 
I have no problems with 4:1 using a brush as well. I've only had to use my 2:1 bottle once, and the wheels were literally black since the owner never washed the wheels.
 
when I used MWB I would have a bottle of 4-1 and a bottle of 2-1, 4-1 did the job most of the time for 75% of the cars, some times you need a little more bang, but it sounds like you need to go 4-1
