Want to take the care of those wheel arch plastic surfaces to a higher level

For ages I have been using autoglym bodyshop 07b to clean and enhance them, then topping with wolfgang black diamond gel and other times DP gloss tire gel and also use tire gel on the wheel arch coating to give that wet, shiny gloss black look after each wash



Would wolfgang plastic sealant work on the plastics or maybe optimum protectant plus

They look nice after each wash but get real dirty after driving and I need to re apply the autoglym again



Got any tips on how to improve the look of them
 
Are you talking about the black plastic in the wheel wells? If so, I use APC agitated with a MF wash mitt and rinsed with a pressure washer. I dress with Stoners Trime Shine. The aerosal makes it quick and easy, especially when there is not much space.
 
Yeah removing the wheels or at least jacking the car up to get access is the only way. Apart from at shows I just clan the wheel weels with AG engine and machine cleaner to keep them looking good, and dress at shows with AG Vinyl and rubber.
 
I use the armor all stuff for it... cheap, buggy shiney and a neglectable lasting time... Enough for me to feel good but nothing to reach tomorrow... BTW, it does help to keep snow and salt off during heavy fall, for those who live around cold places...
 
You used WG Tire Gel on the wheelwell plastic? How did that work for you?



I've always used 303 or PB's Trim Restorer. Those work quite well, especially TR.

You don't have to take the whole wheel off, but jacking the car up a few inches is always helpful.... :up
 
I know that Griot's Garage is not a "go to" brand for many. However, they make an "Undercarriage Spray" that I have used with success on the plastic inner liner of the wheel well. After I brush out the wheelwell with a soapy, long-handled brush, and I give it time to dry, a spray inside makes it nice and black, and hides scuff marks, etc.
 
Wolfgang works brilliantly, even on the wheel arch metal plus it's over the top of a messy to put on but great product, Omikron RD BLACK
