Whats your thoughts on rinseless wash DG vs OPT ?

I have been playing with both and have to give the edge to OPT. Although I have NOT tried the OPT w/ocw in it but the DG claims to have AW in it.

I haven't seen many good reviews of the DG stuff. ONRv3 is top notch stuff and ONRW is even better. It's still hard for me to believe I can wash a car and not have to QD it.
 
I've used both and I can't tell that one is better than the other. But, the strawberry smell of DG really gets to me after a while, whereas ONR doesn't bother me at all.
 
Have been using ONR for years and even mixing an OZ of Aquawax in it from time to time and was always happy with the results. Tried the DG Rinseless with Aquawax built in a few months ago--used up the 16 oz bottle, but went back to ONR v3. The DG rinseless seemed to give the paint a sticky feel when drying---not the slick feel produced by ONR. Haven't tried the ONRW yet, but it's on my list.
 
I like the DG Rinseless a lot, better than ONR. ONR seems kind of thin compared to Duragloss. I don't use it much because I like the rinseless / waterless Pinnacle pair and DG doesn't really make a waterless wash. Honestly, I have a gallon of both ONR v3 and Pinnacle Rinseless with Carnauba and I like the Pinnacle better.



I think ONR is my least favorite.
 
I'll chime in and vote for DG, and hell, I didn't even like no-rinse products till it came out. And yeah I tried ONR, I never saw what the hype about this was, I bought a quart and ended up giving half of it to Brandon back before he became Mister Wiggins and too damn good to associate with me.
 
After introduced to ONR, I only do weekly washes inside my garage now and it really saves time. Most importantly, I do not have to break out the hose and clean up afterwards. I currently switched to using ONRWW. Seems to be glossier than ONR IMO.
 
I personally haven't used anything Duragloss, and do hear many good things about their products, so I don't want to sound like I'm being negative, but...



I tend to only buy products from companies that have the balls to join the communities and give their customers unrivaled support. Ask anything about Optimum and you'll have a ton of people chime in, plus a few of their top guys. Ask a good enough question, and Dr. G will jump in himself.



That's why 99% of my products come from 3D, Meguiars, Optimum and Chemical Guys. I can name handfuls of people that work for each of these companies that I've never met in person, but I've never heard one name associated with Duragloss. Again, I'm sure it's a good product, but I think Dr. G and Optimum are out to make great products.

2nd that. I talk to Dr. G at least several times a year, he is always looking for honest feedback on his products and constantly looking for ways to make sure his products are top notch. And I think anyone who has ever met him would agree.

I can see myself going that way myself. But the only thing that causes me hesitation is wheels & wheel wells. Those still seem somewhat ackward for me during a rinseless wash.



I tried the Garry dean wash method recently too which I thought was awesome for the car itself, but when I kept going for wheels it got the MFs I used absolutely filthy. I guess I need to incorporate some brushes or something into that wash method.



Overall though I'm still most comfortable with a good ol fashion 2 bucket wash with hose.
 
Brushes and Optimum Power Clean (at 3:1 dilution) work great on wheels. I have videos up on youtube, same user name.
