I'm a retired Project Controls Speci.alist. (In Leyman's terms:) I scheduled major construction projects to make sure they were completed on time/on budget. Airports, Power Plants, Military Jobs, etc.)

Current gigs:
-Part time detailing
-Construction Management Consulting (currently 2 projects)

What do you do for a living?

I work for a Global Energy Property Broker.

I help big energy companies place property insurance on their refineries, gas plants, power plants, construction projects, etc.

I work on an ambulance as an emt-intermediate full time during fall/winter/spring, in the summer I am rescue swimmer. I am also in school full time to get my paramedic. Before those gig's I worked as a painter's helper in a custom auto body shop, and still do cut/buffing work for him when he has a nice car he doesn't want the shop detailers messing up or touching.

I am licensed mortgage broker (as well as life and health insurance). Because of the Florida real estate market and tighter loan requirements I had to make that my part time job about 10 months ago. The paychecks started to become fewer and farer between in the mortgage business. I took a job in outside sales for a staffing agency so I could have a steady paycheck. I still do loans and insurance on the side but not like I use to do. I do detailing on the side on weekends as a hobby and for some extra cash. In this economy you have to make it where ever you can.

I used to be program officer for Federal Government (Health Canada) and now I have gone back to my roots and I work in a lab trying to West nile virus as a biological chemist/molecular biologist.

After 36 years I retired at the end of June - senior marketing manager for Procter & Gamble. Took off two months then started seminary - am now a full time student working on a master's in Biblical Studies & Theology.

I have a full time livery business providing service to the state medical examiners office and funeral homes. We are a 24/7 business and clean cars are all part of our image and attention to details and professionalism that is paramount to our customers.

The detailing is just an everyday thing around here...Director
